Creative Start - I've spent my life making things.
As a child I made toys and costumes out of paper bags. Economical?
yes. Durable? No.
You can't ride your bike in a paper eagle costume... or can you?
When
I started using fabric I made strange stuffed animals and hand puppets.
Later on I started making costumes that looked like animals, such
as this giant rat.
Holiday? What
holiday?
I have work to do.

In
Jr. High I was introduced to clay. I enjoyed clay sculpture very
much.
When
the technology was available I gravitated toward computer art, spending
hours in Autodesk Animator making short animations.
In
my early 20's I attended the Connecticut Institute of Art.
At this school I was taught production, design and various artistic
techniques. The final semester was computers. This was my introduction
to Quark XPress, and Illustrator. Photoshop was not being taught
until after graduation. Since I have such a natural ability for
computers, I learned it pretty quickly on my own.
Mostly what I learned in this school was what I already knew; I
could draw.
I worked at a party shop on and off for 10 years.
I was there while going to art school, doing these various jobs
and left to travel around the country.
